so there i was, at the doctor’s office. it’s the first part of the year, time to get the unpleasantness out of the way. i arrived a few minutes late, so i had to wait for about 10 minutes.
side-note – i love my doctor. not only is ten minutes probably the absolute longest i’ve ever had to wait to see him, he’s the kindest, most genuinely caring doctor i’ve ever had, even including the genteel family doc i had as a child.
so i’m sitting in the waiting room, and a song comes on the muzak system that reminds me of another song that i’d heard just a day or two before – both of which pretty well enrage me. because there oughtta be a law..
seriously, have you ever actually read the words to “go away, little girl”? i know, i know, it was written back in 1960-something. but that doesn’t even excuse it. check this:

Can someone please explain to me what it is, exactly that makes men supposedly attracted to “little girls”? i mean, it’s nauseating! and it brings up so many other mental nasties that drive me batty. why do guys go for the whole “catholic school girl” look? and what is up with liking us shaved? why are you so obsessed with prepubescence? it’s just nasty! i mean, i understand that you’re not attracted so much to the older, grey set. but, really? “little girl”?? really???
