i’ve been wondering for weeks. i’ve googled. i’ve cha-cha’d. i’ve asked innocent bystanders and all my friends. but i’ve nearly given up.
i know there are many, many films in which “wait for it… waiiiiiit fooooor iiiiiit….” has been used. but i want to know which one made it famous.
the voice i hear in my head when i think of it is bill murray – which leads me to believe that the one i’m thinking of is “ghostbusters.” but i dunno. i could be wrong.
so once again, dear readers, i give you the rare opportunity to reply – in case one of you out there can think of which one it is i’m thinking of. i’m willing to endure the spam to get to the bottom of this one.
