there’s something to be said for working in a place where you are truly appreciated. this past week i really felt like i should be doing more, contributing more. i mean, i know i’m still a newbie – this week was only my third and concluded on what was essentially only 12 actual days of work. and yet, at the end of the day on friday my co-worker thanked me for all my efforts and let me know it was her intention to tell the boss how helpful i’d been while she’s been out of town. something that my boss has already thanked me for herself by phone while she was out.
