i do a lot of freethinking behind the wheel. it’s where i get most of the ideas for what rant about. like this for instance… i’m sure you’re familiar with the huge sculpture out at the parkway and I-45, the family:
well, maybe it’s just me, but it seems a little weathered these days. i took this picture a few summers back, but driving by this afternoon i noticed how the paint isn’t all oxidizing at the same pace, leaving dark spots and light spots and making the entire thing look, well, kinda like when someone has tagged an underpass or a building and some public works guys have gone out and with complete disregard for the color of said surface just painted over the offending additional artwork with a beige or white paint. it just looks bad.
now i know you folks over there at the woodlands development company stop in and check on me from time to time – so do us all a favor and keep the place looking up to snuff, alright?
