at my office, from the word go we were already at half-staff. by 2:30 we were down to just me, the receptionist and one other person.
and yet, the boss made us stay.
the phone rang just five times the remainder of the day.
we could hear music bumping from somewhere down the road, the offices were so quiet.
but on the up side (or, down side, depending on your appreciation of work) i did get all done with a project i’ve been putting off for months. and months and months. it was totally all about filing. i hate filing.
so – it wasn’t exactly a good friday. but it was friday, nonetheless. so at least tomorrow’s saturday. i think i’ll get out, enjoy the weather. watch for me, you just never know if that biotch that shot you “the look” is me.
