hope you all got everything you wanted for christmas. i know i did. first of all – nothing that i really and truly wanted was a physical object that could be bought, and so therefore i already had exactly everything i needed before the gift wrap ever started flying. i wanted sunrise, and love, and someone to touch. sappy? yes. true? yep. and i got those. but of course, boyfriend wanted to know what else he could get me. and so he got me this:
which is only something i’ve wanted for years and never bought myself and he lovingly obliged.
along with a black diamond journey pendant, black chrome cuisinart mini-prep food processor, a black and white set of lambies from bath & body works (seeing a bit of a theme, are you?), dkny 100% new york perfume and other kitchen gadgets.
as for him, well – he’s a guy. i got him a fully programmable universal remote, the simpsons game and a personalized leather bound day planner. along with some cologne and a battery for his mobile. ;o)
as for various family members i think they all think we run on coffee. between my mom, his mom, his sister and his niece we recieved tweleve different types of coffee as well as gift cards to starbucks and two free tall beverages at starbucks. not a bad haul.
and finally, from my best friend i recieved a guilt trip. i mean, a bible. and not just a bible – a bible with several dozen choice scriptures highlighted and tagged for my reading. ah, me. well, anyway – her heart was in the right place.
