i have to be careful what i say. on the one hand, this is my blog, my thoughts, i can say what i want. on the other hand, i know things that no one other than me knows, so saying them out loud is enough to get me in to deep, deep trouble. so instead i can only tiptoe around the subject, not name names, make allusions and avoid facts. so let me just say this…
if you’re considering starting a business, do your research. know who you’re going into business with. know your partner. your business partner is more likely to run you into an early grave (or at the very least, bankruptcy) than your life partner, so you’d better make sure you know who you’re dealing with and exactly what kind of scruples they have. because apparently my place of employment is run by a partnership wherein one runs the company by doing whatever the #*($ they want and the other one supports this practice by playing ostrich and enjoying the view of the sand that’s caving in all around.
i’ve recently learned some things about how exactly my company is run and i don’t mind saying… it just may be time to polish up that resume and start working the phones. i may really love my job, but i really love having a roof over my head waaaaaaaay better. so let me just quote the boss by saying this:
awwwwwww, $hhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiitttt.
